This explains what Ottie collects, why, and the control you have. Ottie is intentionally built to remember your conversations, so please read the Memory section.
What we collect
- Account information (when you create one): sign-in identity and email.
- Conversations and the memories Ottie forms from them.
- Images or screenshots you choose to send (later), and voice (later, only if you enable it).
- Device and app information, and analytics about how the app is used.
- Notification and subscription information.
Why we use it
- To let you talk with Ottie and keep your relationship continuous across sessions.
- To personalize Ottie and run her world, stories, and routines.
- For security, abuse prevention, and to improve the product.
AI providers
To generate Ottie's replies, conversation content is sent to AI model providers (Anthropic or OpenAI, depending on the configured feature) that process it on our behalf under their terms. We do not sell your conversations.
Memory (please read)
Ottie can save selected information from your conversations so she can remember things across sessions. You control this:
- See it: You → What Ottie Remembers.
- Delete it: remove any single memory, or clear all of Ottie's memories.
- Turn it off: disable new long-term memories at any time; existing memories are kept until you delete them.
Retention
- Delete a memory: it is removed from what Ottie can recall.
- Delete everything: the data associated with your Ottie is deleted according to our systems, subject to limited legal or backup retention.
Your rights and controls
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can export your data and delete everything in the app (You → Account). Contact support@ottiesworld.com for other requests.
Children
Ottie is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be surfaced in the app.

Cookie Stack with Ottie in ChatGPT

Cookie Stack with Ottie is a separate cookie-merging game operated by Hi Lulu, LLC. It does not require an Ottie’s World account, connect to companion memories, or transfer game progress to the companion app.
Game data
Our Railway-hosted server processes game-control requests, temporary game identifiers, board positions, scores and round status. It returns game state through the ChatGPT MCP integration. The game tools do not request your email address, companion credentials, full chat history, photos, microphone or contacts. OpenAI separately handles your ChatGPT conversations and service use under its own policies.
Temporary rounds
Game state is held in server memory, not a game database. A game instance expires 20 minutes after creation; continued play does not extend that limit. Cleanup runs on requests and approximately once a minute. Restarting the server clears in-memory games. Closing the view attempts to release its instance; expiry is the fallback if that request fails. Leave round cancels the round and does not promise deletion of every provider record.
Optional test events
Optional test-event recording starts disabled. When consent is given, the server can keep a bounded in-memory list of game-start, game-finish, replay and website-visit event types within the temporary instance. This is not a persistent analytics database and does not describe separate website or companion analytics.
Service records
The server writes operational errors, including rejected tool names and error categories. Railway hosts the service and processes operational traffic; OpenAI processes ChatGPT integration traffic. Railway request tracing is disabled in our current configuration. Our Railway Hobby plan provides seven days of application and deployment log history. This is a log viewing window, not a guarantee of physical deletion after seven days, and the 20-minute game expiry does not apply to provider logs. Provider processing is governed by their respective policies.
Visiting Ottie’s World
Meet Ottie opens our website with campaign labels identifying ChatGPT, Cookie Stack and the link placement. The link does not contain your game capability, board, score or chat text. The website’s applicable privacy disclosures govern that visit.
Support email
Contact support@ottiesworld.com for support or privacy requests. Support email is handled through Google-hosted email. We use your email address and the information you send to respond to your request. Our policy is to delete routine support emails 90 days after the request is resolved. This is our handling policy, not a claim that automated deletion is configured or that all provider copies are immediately erased. Do not send passwords, game capability tokens or private chat history.
